Description

Lucet Kit – A lucet consists of 2 parts – a knitting fork and a large holed needle, it is a Viking and medieval cord making tool used to create strong stretchy cord. The tool’s two “horns” hold yarn loops, which are worked over each with the needle to form a continuous, dense braid. Lucets were historically used for practical items like clothing ties and shoelaces. They are now popular for historical reenactment and modern craft projects.
